My cousin Matt and his girlfriend are visiting DC this week--and Dad got the 7 of us a tour of the West Wing! President Obama just recently reopened the White House to tours . . . so we feel really lucky to have gotten this chance!! We saw the Oval Office--way smaller in person than the movies make it out to be . . . the door for the "situation room" . . . the Cabinet Briefing room . . . the Rose Garden (sans roses) . . . and the press room. We were only allowed to take pictures a few places.

The Rose Garden
You can BARELY make out the swing set behind the trees. You truly can see it from the windows behind the President's desk in the Oval Office.
Peeking
They were home (see the flag?)--they arrived back from Camp David RIGHT before our tour--infact, we had to wait for the helicoptor to take off before they let us in the gate! The girls must have had homework . . .

So cool! I look forward to taking Gracie there some day. DC is definitely one of the coolest places to visit (and for you live!). Love your jacket!
